White House Spokesman Has Recurring Dream of Chandelier Falling on Helen Thomas

January 30, 2008

Washington - White House Spokesman Tony Fratto admitted yesterday that he has a recurring dream in which a chandelier falls from the ceiling onto the head of veteran White House reporter Helen Thomas.

“It’s like I’m there, it’s so real,” Fratto said. “I’m giving a press briefing, and Helen is there in the front row, as usual. And all of a sudden, this very large, ornate chandelier falls from the ceiling and onto her head. And she’s killed instantly. And I go on with the press conference and take questions. And then, somehow, Jeff Gannon is there, and he waves at me and winks. And then I wake up.”
